Worshipping Obama in San Francisco

The Obama-as-messiah complex continues. Check out this photo of religious votive candles festooned with Obama's image at a San Francisco street fair. I noted this local brand of religious fervor earlier this year in the post, "Barack Obama: Patron Saint of San Francisco?"

As GK Chesterton put it, "When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing -- they believe in anything." And then they vote.
