Phyllis Chesler Interviews Lionheart, The British Blogger in Hiding

Phyllis Chesler has an important interview at Pajamas Media today with British blogger Lionheart. It's a must-read for anyone hoping to preserve Western Civilization in the face of radical Islam's encroachments.

Lionheart is a Christian blogger who's been meticulously documenting the rise of Islamism in the UK and, in particular, the stranglehold of Pakistani and Al-Qaeda gangs over the drug trade in his hometown of Luton. For his troubles, Lionheart has had to go into hiding and, having recently traveled abroad, now finds himself under threat of arrest should he return by none other than his own government.

His crime? Allegedly "stirring up racial hatred" by simply telling the truth and having opinions that run counter to those of British Big Brother. Indeed, this shameful chapter is just the latest in what appears to be the UK's descent into the twin horrors of becoming an Orwellian socialist state and the next outpost of the Islamic Caliphate.

Read it and weep. And there's much, much more at Lionheart's blog.

If you think it can't happen here in the United States, take a look at the agenda of groups such as CAIR, which seek to silence free speech in the name of political correctness.

As Thomas Jefferson wisely noted, "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

It isn't just in the UK. Israeli and Finnish bloggers have been targets, as well. They're after people in Canada and elsewhere, too.

And, there is a legal jihad being waged via courts in the UK to get civil judgments of libel against authors who expose ties to terrorism. Sheikh Khalid bin Mahfouz, Financier of Holy Terror, a multibillionaire, comes to mind. He's got libel judgments, by default, against American authors, holding open the possibility that he might try to collect in the US on his UK judgments. Right now, Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld is in the midst of such a battle; my most recent post on her situation is entitled Conflicts of Interest.

They'll be after all of us soon enough.

What, so it's OK for Israel or the USA to lock up people who are opposed to their fundamental values, but if Britain does it we're in the wrong? I suppose someone with a history of stirring up anti-Semitic hatred would be welcomed into Israel?

Having now read as much of Chickenliver's blog as I could take (quite a lot) I have to say that I'm surprised that even you, Cinnamnon, with your proud history of Islamophobic hatred, could find it in your heart to support the man. I knew you were an idiot, and I knew you had no interest in democracy, freedom or any other value of my society (or indeed your own), but I didn't up to now have you marked down as actually genocidally evil. Now I know better.

If you ask me whether Osama bin Laden of "Lionheart" is a greater threat to Britain? I'd say the latter, not because I like bin Ladne's views any better but because he at least is honest about wanting to destroy us. You and Chickenliver want to create your perfect world by rubbing half my country out of it. That's such a comfort.
