Jack Cashill Speaking Tonight at the SF Young Republicans Happy Hour
Journalist and author Jack Cashill, who's in California to promote his upcoming book "What's the Matter With California?" (some sections of which I helped edit), will be speaking tonight at the monthly Happy Hour gathering of the San Francisco Young Republicans. If interested, come on down to Perry's Restaurant and Bar on Union Street at 7pm to hear him speak. Should be a good one.
Update (7/20): Really good turnout and a great talk! It was delivered, coincidentally, on the 11th anniversary of the destruction of TWA Flight #800, about which Cashill has done extensive work. As he put it during his talk, he's no conspiracist. And neither am I. But one needn't believe in imaginary conspiracies to note that the facts don't jibe with the official story. With the hindsight of living in a post-9/11 world, the questions remain ever more pressing.

Cinnamon I am amazed that there are Young Republicans in San Francisco. Perhaps the situation is not hopeless after all.
Hi Cinnamon: I've added your page to my blogroll. I'll be in to comment over here from time to time.
Have a great night!
