HI Cinnamon,

While I believe that you and I are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, I agree quite strongly that intefering with the right of free speach of others because you don't agree with them is week.
Isn't the "free speech movement" then one where it's OK to shout down anyone whose message you don't like? We in the Bay Area are as guilty as anyone. Maybe more guilty in some cases. Dialogue in San Francisco is pretty one sided in most cases.

I will be the first to step into the breach and say you are retarded. Heckling those we don't agree with is also our right.

Also, I'm sorry you wet your bed at the thought of terrorists. Now you can feel special because liberals think you are dumb.

You must be a leftist! People like you can always be counted upon to provide proof of the inability of the left to argue any point or contribute any intelligent ideas to discourse.

Get an education.

Cinnamon, this denial of liberties is nothing new coming from the left. Looking back to the 60's (I know, before your time, LOL) shouting others down was rampant. It is only their message they wish heard and will take what steps they deem necessary to accomplish that.

I believe, if we looked even further back in history, the Bolshevik Revolution practiced such tactics as did the German Nazi Socialists prior to WW2.

They cry about freedoma nd liberty, but once looked at, it's clear they mean only for themselves and those like minded.

Good column, by the way.

You would always be welcome on my campus, where campus security makes sure that the Marxists behave themselves.

I wish I could say the same for the students of Berkeley, Brown, and COlumbia- who pay top tuition and end up with an unbalanced political education.
